Q & A For New Log Buyers
Q - Do I have to list my log prices?
A - No, many of our log buyers simply list the species of logs they are buying.
Q - What is a "Log Buyer Directory"?
A - We have a directory in the front of our magazine that allows buyers to tell the industry all of their contact info to include; company name, address, phone, buyers phone, emails, website etc.
Q - How often do you update your sawlog prices?
A - We contact each log buyer about one week before we go to press for our upcoming issue.
(we publish every 6 weeks)
Q - Who will see my log prices or log buying information?
A - During the year thousands of Loggers in New England, New York and Pennsylvania will see your information. Remember that Foresters, Timberland Owners and other people in the industry will know that you are actively buying logs.
Q - What is the cost to list my information?
A - There is no initial cost for listing your log buying information for the first year. However, after one year you will receive an invoice for $75 for a one year subscription to the magazine. (i.e. As long as you are a current subscriber there is no cost to list your log buying information, including log prices)
Q - I want to list my Log Prices, how do I do that?
A - Simply fax your current "Spec Sheet" (the sheet that you give to loggers that includes your log specifications & prices) to 603-462-1970. You can also email it to sawlogs@outlook.com
We'll take it from there and make sure your prices and specs are in all future issues.
